Father Leo takes you on a video tour of the progress of the Girls Dormitory at Leo Primary School.

On June 21, 2024, the Students of Leo Primary School had their first ever Student Study Tour to Lake Mburo National Park! The School hired two Buses to take Primary 6 and Primary 7 Students. The Students learned about Wild Life and Tourism practically. Hiring Buses was very difficult and expensive! Any divinely inspired individual or group to buy a Bus for us is gratefully welcome. Blessings!

A message from the President of Leti Resource Center:

Abundant blessings and gratitude to all our donors and prayer warriors. The impact of Leti Resource Center in Isingiro, Uganda is phenomenal. Because of the good discipline of the students of Leo Primary School and their excellent performance, the number of students is overwhelmingly way above what the structures on the ground can hold! The school has more than five hundred (500) students! Many parents are insisting on bringing more but we turn them back! Thanks to the wonderful administration, staff and parents. At the moment DORMITORIES are urgently needed: One for boys and one for girls. The dormitories will be located opposite to each other behind the Multipurpose Building forming a quadrangle with the completed Kitchen and Dining at the back. Each one of the Dormitories will cost $750,000.00 to completion.

The women and youth have also urgently requested for a Center with spacious halls, stores and bedrooms for resource people who come to visit. The Women and Youth Center is estimated to cost $175,000.00 to completion. Please, come to our aid.

Choicest Blessing to all our friends, our donors and our prayer warriors,

Rev. Fr. Leo Tinkatumire, PhD

Thank You!

The President of Leti Resource Center, Rev. Fr. Leo Tinkatumire, PhD, the Director Mr. John Bosco Tumwesigye, the Headteacher, the Staff and the Students of Leo Primary School send abundant appreciation to all those donating toward the construction of the Girls’ Dormitory at Leo Primary School. Thank you so much for your love and generosity.

At present the students use classrooms for dormitories and even they are over congested. Your generosity will avail comfortable and safe accommodation to the young, fragile and vulnerable girl students.

WHAT IS

LETI RESOURCE CENTER?

The Leti Resource Center (LRC) is a nonprofit established by Father Leo Tinkatumire to bring together people who otherwise would not know each other, to make a positive contribution to building a more just world. Specifically, Leti Resource Center seeks to enhance and empower participants through education, training, and public health.

LRC extends its work throughout Uganda, although it is focused primarily in the Isingiro and Mbarara districts.

Leti Resource Center was founded to empower people to fulfill their human promise by improving their economic condition, raising their standard of living, providing medical care, and promoting moral and spiritual wholeness. The Center’s primary objectives are to assist the poorest of the poor in securing education, health services, and clean, safe water; to create and fund community-based micro organizations; and to build a House of Peace as a harbor for those who are struggling the most.
